    Rally Commuting Challenge 2008!
    summary:

Details for the Commuting Challenge- June 2008

    full description:

    Rally Employees,

As part of our ongoing goal to reduce our Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 22%, we will be focusing on a reduction in our commuting footprint for the month of June.  To measure this, we will be tracking our commuting footprint for June.  We've baselined everyone's carbon emissions in a typical month (thanks everyone for filling out the paper slips), and we just need your help by tallying your results each Friday in June, using a Google Spreadsheet (link to come on Friday with spreadsheet form and prizes to shoot for).  Email Jack.Mudd@Rallydev.com, Dale.Aychman@Rallydev.com or Ken.Forman@Rallydev.com with questions or concerns.

    Things to consider:

    • For simplicity's sake, busses, bikes, and walking are all counted as zero emissions.
    • Carpooling emissions are divided among the number of carpoolers.
    • Please review your numbers on the baselined spreadsheet prior to Friday, June 6th, as they will be locked in on this date.

We'll recognize everyone for their participation and award the top three in the following categories:

    • Largest Overall Reduction - Awarded to the individual who has the highest total reduction in transportation emissions by biking, walking, busing, carpooling, etc.
    • Highest Percentage Reduction* - Awarded to the individuals who reduce their overall carbon emissions the most compared to their normal (pre-June) emissions. In the event that multiple employees reach a 100% reduction, they will each receive prizes.

    Thanks,
    The Green Team

*Individuals baselined at zero emissions who maintain zero emissions will automatically qualify for the Highest Percentage Reduction
